Gallstones: Yes it is possible to develop a gallstone even though in january there were none. Passing a stone usually is associated with blood test abnormalities at the time of passing a stone and the patient usually ends up on the emegency room because the pain is pretty severe. The gallbladder should be removed if that occurs.
