Many things: Many use alcohol (like a glass of wine) to relax while flying. Some of my anxious patients request drugs like xanax (alprazolam) or Lorazepam to take when flying. Herbs like holy basil & valerian are good natural alternatives, as is the Amino Acid l-theanine. I like listening to music on my ipod. Bringing a good book to read can help too, and many like to watch movies on their tablets. Don't forget to breathe!
