Check up: The splint should have some retention but no undo pressure on your teeth. Have the dentist who made it, check the fit.

Stressed out!: Patients who grind can definitely develop craze lines on their teeth which can possibly lead to true fractures. The pressure you're feeling could be due to a fracture. Talk to your dentist: You may need your splint adjusted and/or relined. Also, talk to your dentist about an upper splint, if you don't like it going over your lower fixed retainer.

Thanks for asking!: A lot of patient has craze lines, it is normal with wear and tear pressure is also normal but to be safe have your dentist check the splint to see if an adjustment needed.
