Hyperpigmentation : Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation is darkening of skin after a rash such as an irritant dermatitis. Given the distribution, if the area had any irritation initially, it could be from whitening toothpaste, mouth wash, makeup, lip licking or another issue. See a dermatologist who may prescribe a treatment for irritation initially and then a fading cream for the discoloration.
