Maybe but: I would consider other things 1st.& honestly if you are having such severe chest pain, which could be many things that are not serious..First go this am to your dr. To be checked just to be sure.When you call the office tell the secretary exactly what you said above & that you need appointment today.If they say they have "none" today insist on speaking to office manager..If you have no dr go to er.

28 yo. Quit smoking two weeks ago. Tight chest. Pft nov Fvc 79 fev1 98% pft feb Fvc 110 fev1 115. Fev1/Fvc 83%. Both have low pef. Copd? Asthma?
