A member asked:

Why do some doctors say yogurt will get rid i yeast infection and others say it won't. what's the truth? will it or will it not?!

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Might, might not.: Yogurt sometimes works, but you need a non-sweetened brand that contains active acidophilus, the friendly bacteria that helps keep yeast in check. Many commercial brands do not have it, so be sure to read the label. And if it doesn't work, see your doctor, because something else may be going on.
