See doctor: Pseudotumor cerebri is an acquired condition that mimics increased pressure on the brain, but is usually benign. The most common cause is excessive vitamin a & beta carotene intake. Also, some medications can cause it- most notably tetracycline antibiotics. It won't kill you if you see your doctor and identify the cause in your case.

No: Pseudotumor is most commonly seen in overweight females and is associated with increased intracranial pressure. If left untreated it can affect your vision due to increased pressure along the optic nerve ( papilledema). You should see your regular doctor who can send you to an opthalmologist to check your eyes and a neurologist to check your intracranial pressure with a spinal tap.
