A member asked:

Left leg weak from stroke now hurts is this common after a year ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Central pain : If you have sustained a stroke involving thalamus, you could experience a deafferentation syndrome called dejerine-roussy or thalamic pain syndrome. But get this checked as your pain could also be due to leg thrombophlebits, which puts your at grave risk if not diagnosed and treated.
