No: Teething is a natural process of teeth erupting in the mouth of the child. It does not cause complicated other situations. However it is important to keep these teething areas clean by using a wet cotton or soft brush and clean the areas.

New to me: Never heard of this before, so i don't think so. Ask your pediatrician to check the skin blotching. And now that your child has teeth erupting, make appointment with pediatric dental specialist for growth & development exam, oral hygiene and diet instructions, Fluoride balancing, and so much more. Don't wait until 2-3, please go now.

No: Teething does not cause skin blotches. If the child is drooling a lot they may get a drool rash on the area of skin that is constantly wet, but that is the extent of it. Any other rash is caused by something else.
