No: I am not aware of a risk of diabetes in patients with a history of thyroid cancer.

No: Diabetes is not related to thyroid cancer. However autoimmune thyroid disease such as hashimoto's and graves disease occur more commonly in people with type 1 diabetes which is also an autoimmune disease. Other risk factors for diabetes are family history of diabetes and being overweight.
