Yes: There are many different types of parasites. See your md. If you have been traveling outside the country, consider going to a tropical medicine/infectious disease specialist. Major medical centers may have a parasitologist whom you may be referred if a rare or difficult parasite. Good luck. Save your stool with the fish.
