Depends: It is not uncommon to have an abnormal periods. Normally you will have every month. Talk to your md about polycystic ovaries. Stress strenuous exercise, medical problem like diabetes or thyroid condition are a few reasons one might have repeated episodes of abnormal menses. See your md, if appropriate do a pregnancy test.

Probably: Normal periods come every 21-35 days. You ovaries do not follow a calendar. They do not know what day, week or month it is. Periods do not come once per month. They come every 21-35 days. Any relationship to an actual calendar is purely coincidental.
