Shiny Red Nose: Possibilities can include: allergies (would also have other signs like rhinitis, congestion, watery eyes), rosacea (would also typically see this on forehead and cheeks as well), seborrheic dermatitis (would have some flakiness & itching), overproduction of sebum in this area, several diseases that cause hypervascularity and vasodilation in the nose, erysipelas (usually group a strep infection).
