It's ok: It likely won't fall off, unless something tears it off. If possible if you can clip the end then it will be off and you don't have to worry.

Yes: Nails take time to grow out. Toenails grow out slower than fingernails. Average toenail growth rate is about 1.5 mm/month compared to fingernail growth rate of about 3.5 mm/month. The big toenail grows faster than other toenails & the little fingernail grows slower than other fingernails. Hope this helps. Good health and nutrition can't hurt.

Loose nail: A loose toe nail will eventually fall off; try to soak it in warm water with hydrogen peroxide and salt. Then apply a topical antibiotic. If it stays on, you may need to see a podiatrist. Unfortunately, podiatrists do not treat hands. Go see a dermatologist for your hand nails.

Yes it will fall off: Try to keep it taped. Try trimming the loose unconnected portion of the nail plate.
