Cough-related vomit: Often when children have a bad cough, coughing can make them vomit more easily. This is especially so if they have a full tummy, so it is not uncommon for them to throw up right after taking in a lot of liquid. If he is still having a normal number of wet diapers then he is probably okay. Try feeding him in smaller, more frequent amounts. If he does not hold anything down for 24 hours, see your dr.
