Stricture: Swelling in the mid body of the stomach may be a mild stricture. If you cannot keep water down for two days then you need to contact your surgeon. Try popcycles, or sips of warm broth. Sometimes warm goes down better. But do not force things. Swelling will go down, just takes time or may need endoscopy to open up the stricture. Sorry you are having troubles - good luck.

GO TO DOC: You must see your physician right away. There are many complications possible with this procedure, and TPN needs to also be reevaluated.

Needs to be out: This is a potential life threading comic action and i would rec that you reverses the surgery and remove the band. Otherwise if the band erodes it will cause bleeding and other complications.

Monitor by surgeon.: Why was the revision done? There are a couple of possibilities: an acute condition requiring an emergency surgery or a chronic condition which can cause slipping of the band. The first condition maybe due to gastric erosion. I am inclined to believe that the area where the lap band was done may have been weakened causing slow stomach motility. This will need follow up by the surgeon.
