A member asked:

My big sister has aids.we live in the same room. how can everyone in the house live with her without contracting the disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Live normally: People living together almost never infect each other except through sexual contact or sharing needles. This was true even before medication. If she does not have full-blown aids but is under control with antiretroviral medication, it is even less transmissible.
