Ibuprofen: Many women find over the counter Ibuprofen (such as advil (ibuprofen) or midol) help with period-related pain. It would also be a good idea to discuss this with a physician to see if there are other problems that may need addressed beyond typical pre-menstrual and menstrual symptoms.

'Bab period , pain': Heavy , long period , and pain during menstrual period , the recommendations depends of your age. But in general, if you are younger, go to pcp or gyn and check for ovary cyst, inflammatory process with us. Some labs , hormones and r/o std. Your dr. Can prescribe a control pills for 6 month or more , depends of the results.For the pain, can use Ibuprofen 600 mgs q 6 to 8 hours, hot or cold pads.
