Why can i not use my salicylic acid face wash? is it really that big of a deal?

Affects baby's heart: The fda labels it as a category c drug. There is some concern that if enough is absorbed systemically, it could cause problems with the baby's heart, particularly with something called the ductus. I would avoid it.
