A member asked:

Is it normal to have pain where my c-section scar is over a year after the surgery? it burns and is tender...

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly : Scars can often be symptomatic even months after a procedure. If the scar is rubbed by clothing, it may become inflamed and need topical treatment. If the scar is becoming raised, it may have become a keloid and need injections to flatten again. Finally, in that area, yeast infections can occur over a scar and make the area red. See a physician to see what is needed in your case.
