Good question : This could be pinched nerve but most likely is si joint arthritis. It can cause severe pain when sitting or lying on that side. Treat with test, antiinflammatories, stretching and see a therapist or pain doctor if these don't help. Don't let anyone do a epidural steroid injection until they consider si joint first.

Slipped on ice and landed really hard on the inner side of my knee, 3 weeks ago. Bruising and swelling has gone down, but it burns every time it's touched. I can't kneel on it, this causes extreme burning/stinging sensations. Will this go away?
