Leg pain Laminectomy: Leg pain after lumbar surgery can occur from blood irritating the nerves during healing or from mechanical manipulating of the nerves during decompression. This type of pain will usually resolve after a couple of weeks. If pain is constant, it might also be a recurrent disk herniation. I would consult with your surgeon for pain management and diagnosis.
