Visit a dentist: Swollen gums are indicative of periodontal "gum disease". I would go to a dentist to get a very detailed examination and hopefully treat any periodontal conditions that you have in the mouth. If medications such as Dilantin are taken that may very well contribute to the swollen gums. There are other factors that may cause the swollen gums, so you will need to see a professional soon.

See dentist soon: Seems like accute inflammation of of gums..Please see your dentist before it worsens..Some mouth washes that say for gum disease may help..Avoid cold food ...
