A year apart: By the time the second baby is born, the two will be a year apart. Many families have two kids 1 year apart. They'll play together and do similar activities because their ages are close to one another. The ob-gyn doctor can start birth control pills, or another method, right after the baby is born (so there isn't a third baby too soon).
