Consider pregnancy: Breastfeeding does not always prevent pregnancy especially if menstruation has resumed. Chances for pregnancy, if breastfeeding over 6 months is about 6%, much less if menses have not resumed. Weight gain or loss is also related to caloric intake. Worthwhile having pregnancy test. Increase exercise & practice portion control at meals if not pregnant. Good Luck.
