Palpitations is not: A diagnosis. If it happens again, you need to dig deeper with the help of a physician with knowledge and experience in arrhythmia! best luck to you!

Palpitations: Palpitations it's a symptom and a physical finding not a diagnosis. Hr of 140 it's a svt(supraventricular tachycardia). History and physical exam with holter, 2d echo, possibly a stress test indicated. Also history of medication you take, excess coffee or energy drinks, caffeinated sodas, street drugs, over active thyroid. Stay with physician follow up.
