Yes: Any area of skin can become sunburnt. Use sunblock spf 15 or higher and reapply according to the package directions.

Yes: The top of the ear lobe can sustain sunburn; just as any area of skin exposed to the sun's rays. In fact, the top of the ear, nose and upper lip are very common places for the development of skin cancers later in life...Basal cell cancers. Agree with sun block 15-50 spf, limit mid day sun exposure and monitor for crusty skin lesions which will not heal.
