Lack of use?: It might be due to the fact that you are not using your right chest muscle as much as your left side.

C7 nerve root: Dr. Abe is right. Disuse is a common cause of muscle atrophy. You could also have a problem with compression of the C7 nerve root which does supply the pectoralis major muscle. You may want to check in with your doctor to have this further evaluated.
