A member asked:

I noticed that since i went on my birthcontrol pills that i see no blood clots when i'm on my period. can this cause serious complications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Birth control pills are well known to make periods lighter, and more manageable. They are frequently used to help woman with heavy periods. While you are on the pill, less lining will build in your uterus, so less will be shed each month. This is perfectly normal!
