Minimally displaced fractured trapezium with multiple carpal avulsion fractures. considerable pain with use after 28 months. chances of arthritis?

Very high : Osteoarthritis frequently occurs at the site of old injuries, your wrist has not only a fracture but also disruption of the ligaments that provide stability so the small bones (carpals) of the wrist can function normally. Without the ligaments keeping them in position there will be shift of the carpals resulting in pressure on areas that do not have enough cartilage causing arthritis.
