Return to doctor.: If you're taking your birth control pills every day as directed and still having heavy bleeding, you should return to your doctor for further evaluation. You may simply need to try a different birth control pill or you may need an ultrasound for further evaluation. Of course if you haven't done so already you should take a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
