Fever-4 wks pregnant: Fever in pregnancy can be concerning for infections that may impact you during pregnancy or your baby. You should make an appointment to see the doctor who will care for you in pregnancy to discuss any recent exposures and your immune status to certain viruses and bacteria. A fever is defined as a temperature of 100.4 or higher, this may naturally fluctuate over the course of the day.

Get seen: I think your instinct to be seen and evaluated is a good one. You certainly can take tylenol (acetaminophen) to bring down your fever safely, but it would be a good idea to get seen to figure out the source. A viral illness may not need any further treatment, but i can't tell from the limited information provided.

Take Tylenol (acetaminophen) : Take tylenol (acetaminophen) for a temperature greater than 100.4 f. If your fever doesn't go down with tylenol (acetaminophen) or if you don't begin feeling better within 24 to 48 hours you should go in to see your doctor for an exam.
