No luck with antidepressants so what do i do?

Many options: First, it depends what antidepressants you have taken. There are a number of classes you might try, including snri's and perhaps maoi's. Augmentation with a mood stabilizer or "atypical antipsychotic" like Abilify (aripiprazole) or seroquel can help. Depending on a number of factors you might want to consider ECT or an accepted form of therapy that you are comfortable with.

Agree w Dr. Balter: Can change antidepressant, add in Ability, add in mood stabilizer. Talking therapy (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or insight oriented psychotherapy) is allows for lasting change. Don't isolate. Spend time w people. Use your support system. Get out. Get at least 8 hrs of sleep/ night & eat healthfully. Daily aerobic physical activity is a big +. Try acupuncture too.
