Hand numbness: It may be compression of a nerve that innvervates the hand muscles, such as of the median, ulnar, or radial nerves. Carpal tunnel syndrome is an example. However, your doctor will need to examine you to make a more accurate diagnosis since the nerves innervate different muscles of the hand. Then a treatment plan can be made.
