A member asked:

How come tissue fluid accumulates at ankles and feet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vessel compromise: Vessels have valves that push fluid up to the heart; however, when the valves malfunction then fluid accumulates in the lowest parts of our body (ankles and feet).
