Lots of options: Irregular menstrual period is very common and there are lots of options. Birth control methods such as pills, the patch and NuvaRing can regulate the cycle. Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud can stop periods completely for many. Lysteda is a nonhormal treatment which minimizes bleeding. For those done with childbearing, an endometrial ablation is a great minimally invasive option.
