Avoid triggers: Rosacea flares up due to a variety of triggers. Sun is a big trigger, so avoiding sun and using a sensitive skin sunscreen daily is helpful. Stress is another trigger but is often unavoidable. Other triggers include red wine or other alcoholic beverages, spicy foods, chocolate, caffeine, and some nuts. Avoiding these triggers and using prescription creams and antibiotics helps. See a dermatologist.
