There aren't studies: At this time that support use of green tea to induce menses. A 2010 study showed japanese females who drank > 5 cups green tea/day had 1st menstruation at younger age but those that drank >10 cups of green tea/day had later menarche. A 2002 study suggested that green tea could bring on a period quicker in rats. In traditional chinese medicine drinking green tea is not recommended during menses.
