Need MD Evaluation: Sorting out different causes of breast pain starts with determining if the pain is coming from the breast tissue or the chest wall. Favoring the former includes variation w/menstrual cycle; favoring the latter is relation to activity and post-menopausal state. Regardless, while cancers often are painless, they can hurt. I recommend that you see your gyne or primary care dr. To help sort thru this.

Unlikely: Most breast cancer does not cause pain. A burning pain can be associated with a type of breast cancer called inflammatory breast cancer, or ibc. But if you had ibc, you would have more than just a burning pain. If the pain in your breast increases over time, or your breast becomes red or swollen, it's time to see a doctor. And if it doesn't go away on its own, see a doctor!
