? Carpal tunnel: A common cause of morning hand pain is carpal tunnel syndrome (cts). This is particulary true if you sleep with you wrists curled in. Also, if your daily responsiblities cause you to perform repetitive wrist actions (typists, mechanics, seamstress, secretaries etc). Usually cts symptoms involve the thumb side of the hand and not the ring and little finger. This should be evaluated.

Carpal Tunnel?: This sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome which is a pinched nerve in the wrist that can cause numbness, tingling, pain and burning in the fingers. Try using a wrist brace when you sleep, this keeps the wrist straight and takes the pressure off the nerve. If this does not improve i would see a hand surgeon for a full evaluation.
