Menstrual cramps: If you have not already taken ibuprofen, do so as soon as possible. Use 800 mg (4 of the over-the-counter tablets) 3 times a day.

Bad cramps: Be carefull taking nsaids cause may cause severe stomach pain. Take them with food and water and also make sure you see a doc asap. Simple birth control pills can take away the pain and give you more peace of mind. Nsaids mask the problem, it doesnt solve it.Hope it helps.
