Need Stool Test: For most parasites except pinworms you need to examine stools for ova and parasite to find out which parasite it is and you have to see a doctor to get the test done.Some times you can see the parasite with naked eye but we still do stool test as there can be more than one kind of worm.Some parasites do not need any treatment and others do, but you have to identify the parasite to know that.
