Testing/self-care 4u: Manage your own stress by taking care of your own needs. Probably, have a psychological testing done on your kid to confirm/disprove diagnosis.Testing will also show child's strength and things to work on, but knowing strengths will help you in coping with his illness and take your care for him in more positive direction. Testing can be done by a clinical psychologist specializing in children.

Adjust expectations: I would affirm the other response. As part of the self-care, it is important to adjust expectations for daily plans, etc. There will be days that go smoothly and days that are very difficult, and the more you can get comfortable with flexibility in your approach to each day, the better it will go for both of you.
