POssible: Go and check chest x-ray and blood work. Also do thoses things if you have signs of infection like fever, shortness of breath and cough.

May well be.: Need more information to tell if one has a lung infection. While they feel heavy this could also be related to heart disease. The issue there is something called congestive heart failure. Chest heaviness could come also from artery disease. Should see your doctor to be evaluated completely
