Switch pills: I hardly ever use 1/35 bc pills any more- too much estrogen, my #1 pill is loloestrin it only has 10 mcg estrogen and there are many that have only 20 mcg, please talk to your gyn and get changed to a lower dose pill, esp at age 40 u should not be on a 1/35 mcg pill.
