A lot of signs: Usually nausea, vomiting , weight loss , shortness of breath , trembling of hands, palor and mood disorders, problem sleeping are mostly the signs and symptoms of impending renal failure.

Good short term: Long-term dialysis whether hemo-dialysis or peritoneal is not best management for stage 5 renal failure. It will keep him alive, but not cure. Best long-term treatment modality is for a kidney transplant.
