Prognosis: The prognosis is very poor as the presence of advanced kidney failure prevents effective treatment of congestive heart failure as needed diuretics and ACE inhibitors or ARB's are.not tolerated and aggravate the kidney failure. I would measure life expectancy here in terms of weeks or a few months if congestive heart failure is also at an advanced stage. Sometimes we're fooled though in estimating

Hard to say: "Predictions are very difficult, especially about the future" (Berra). Typical Alzheimer's runs 5-10 yrs., but looks like kidney issues are main risk, and this will shorten life expectancy the most.
