Is it possible that imiquimod can have unforeseen adverse effects?

Dr. Padmavati Garvey
29 years experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Yes: It is a pregnancy category c drug. This means there are no definitive studies in humans or there is a suggestion of possible negative effects through animal studies or observational studies. Like all drugs, don't use unless you need to.
