Hard to speculate: Mono is passed in saliva of active cases.This can easily be passed to environmental objects from contaminated fingers & spread to others.Most adults have had mono as kids and are immune.If you did, you are, and won't get it. If not, it could be weeks after exposure before you would develop symptoms.
