Depends: There are many different types of endometrial cancer, which arises from the inner lining of the uterus. Depending on the grade, how deep it had invaded the uterus and if it has spread the behavior and treatment will vary. Most occur in older women.

Endometrial cancer: Endometrial cancer is a glandular cancer (adenocarcinoma) arising fr the lining of the uterus. The first step of treatment is removal of uterus, tubes, ovaries, local and regional lymph nodes. This is usually done by a gyn oncologist ( a doctor who did 3-5 years more of training beyond ob/gyn).
